Patch 0.3.0

Probably the biggest update so far as it includes new enemies, a new item AND a bunch of cool new stuff for the editor!

The main addition is the NEW SCORE SYSTEM:

At the end of the maze, the game will calculate your score based on your performance. Here's how it works:

- You get 100 points at base. This value decreases by 10 with each minute spent in the maze. This value cannot fall below 0.

- Encounters won the hard way grant you 10 points each.

- Encounters won the nice way grant you 20 points each.

- You get 5 points every time an item is depleted and 15 points for each item you keep at the end of the level.

- All loot you spend is added to your score. The loot you keep at the end of the game grants double points.

- Each life point you keep at the end of the game grants you 20 points each.

- Each ally mission you complete grants you 40 points.

As for the actual patch notes:

MAIN MENU:

- Added a warning screen that informs the player about potential scares, loud/sudden noises as well as disorienting/disturbing imagery.

- Random maze generator has been disabled in this version due to a rudimentary algorithm and major changes to maze structure. In future updates I'd like to give it a proper rework.

- Before you start a level you'll be able to see the name of its biome (more on that later).

EDITOR:

- Added a new modifier: Doppleganger

* When you claim the treasure, a unique entity called Doppleganger will spawn and follow the exact same path you took up to this point.

* The Doppleganger will not visit the same maze node twice, so don't try to run in circles in order to slow it down. It won't work.

* The Doppleganger can phase through walls and ignore traps you placed.

* When the Doppleganger is close, you'll be able to hear its haunted wailing and glitched particles will start appearing.

* When the Doppleganger gets to you, it's instant game over. The life saving from Wretched Angel won't work either.

* When the Doppleganger finishes retracing your path to the treasure, it'll disappear

- Added a new maze biome, based on the infamous Backrooms. It comes with unique ambience, tension music and architecture. Biome can be selected when you create a new maze.

- Added wall variants for maze nodes. As of right now there are 3:

* Solid wall

* Solid wall with a light source

* Wall with a view to the other side

- To change wall variants you need to press V on your keyboard. You can then use WASD to swap variants of respective walls.

* By pressing V again you'll return to the default mode where you place and remove walls.

* Keep in mind that changing the wall variant of one node does not affect adjacent nodes.

- IMPORTANT NOTE: Backrooms still do not have their unique solid wall with a light source.

GAMEPLAY:

- Added an ability to look behind yourself by holding F. It doesn't make you do a 180 turn, but instead it enables a camera that looks backwards.

- Decreased the time it takes to turn around. A single 90 degree turn now takes 0,375s (used to take 0,5s).

- Fixed the bug that caused the status effect timers run out while in encounter/interacting/after the game.

- Added a status effect: dancing

* Lasts limited time.

* You're forced to stand still and dance.

ENEMIES:

- Each enemy was given a unqiue dancing animation.

- Keyword "Jumpscare" has been renamed to "Spooky"

- Added a new enemy: Goo Guy

* Sloppy - If you lose an encounter with Goo Guy, you will be slowed down for 5 seconds.

* Clumsy - ...however, the Goo Guy himself will also incapacitate himself for 10 seconds after you lose that encounter. Yes.

- Added a new enemy: Discotron

* Forced Dance - Discotron won't hurt you. Instead it'll force you to dance for 5s. Discotron will not start an encounter if you're already dancing.

- Added a new enemy: Gargoyle

* Dangerous

* Alarm

* Stationary - The gargoyle is unable to move. It will not chase you but you won't be able to go past it, unless you find a way to kill it.

- Guardian has a new keyword: Iron will

* Enemies with iron will cannot be forced to dance.

ITEMS:

- Added a new item: Disco thing (not a final name)

* Dance time - Disco thing can be used to force an enemy to dance for 20 seconds. You'll be able to go past a dancing enemy without any encounters. Cannot be used on enemies with iron will.

PREMADE MAZES:

- "Adventure begins", "Hidden gold" and "Chamber of Foo" now have predetermined wall types.

- I opened some new pathways in "Hidden gold" and made it so that points of interests more visible.

- Added a new premade maze: "Party is over".

- Added a new premade maze: "Not alone".
