Faraway Myths

SUMMARY

Faraway Myths is a game where you take control over one of many factions and lead your troops into battle against other players. Each faction is lead by a commander, who's capable of summoning new units on the battlefield. Should your commander fall, you'll lose immediately.

Each faction offers a different set of units, each having their own active and passive ability that gives them a unique role in the battle.

Battleground come with their own surpises as well. Some obstacles can be destroyed and some spots might be hazardous to your units. You might also come across relics of The Lost Civilization that will give your commander a useful buff.

STATE

At this point, Faraway Myths is in a "prototype" stage of development. Only one map is available and it allows for a 2 player match in a hot-seat mode, with the only available faction being The Machine.

Currently planned big additions are as follows:

- Map editor and a larger map pool (current priority)

- AI implementation

- New gamemodes: Archenemy and Chaos

- Multiplayer via LAN

- New faction: Eternum
