A downloadable game for Windows

"It is truly fascinating, how all those creatures were made by sheer accident. A result of the endless cycle of creation and destruction of the cosmos. And what's even more fascinating is how they fight for survival in this vast universe. Watching them, wondering what will happen... it's all interesting indeed. But when one has the power to control what happens... why not just use it?" - ???

SUMMARY

Faraway Myths is a game where you take control of one of many factions and lead your troops into battle against other players. Each faction is lead by a commander, who's capable of summoning new units on the battlefield. Should your commander fall, you'll lose immediately.

Each faction offers a different set of units, each having their own active and passive ability that gives them a unique role in the battle.

Battleground come with their own surpises as well. Some obstacles can be destroyed and some spots might be hazardous to your units. You might also come across relics of The Lost Civilization that will give your commander a useful buff.

STATE

At this point, Faraway Myths is in an EARLY ALPHA. Map editor is functional and you can play with 2-4 players, both in single and multiplayer mode. Singleplayer allows you to play hot-seat with other people or with very simplistic AI. Multiplayer mode allows you to play online with other people but without AI.

My current priority is to fix any more issues with multiplayer that may appear and start working on new playable factions.
